Presidential candidates Bernie Sanders and Martin O'Malley sent videos to address Iowa State Education Association members during the ISEA Summer Leadership Conference. The
National Education Association sent candidate questionnaires to all Democratic and Republican candidates. The ISEA invited all candidates that responded to the NEA questionnaire
to speak at the assembly.
