JULY IS EDUCATOR APPRECIATION MONTH AT MIM
During July, prekindergarten through 12th grade educators are
invited to explore the Musical Instrument Museum (MIM) in
Phoenix for FREE! During the museum's fourth annual Educator
Appreciation Month, teachers and administrators can learn about
the wealth of educational opportunities available at MIM. From
fi eld trips to drumming workshops, there is something for all
ages and musical abilities. To participate, educators must show
a school- or district-issued ID, a fi ngerprint clearance card or
an affi davit of intent (for home school educators). Additionally,
MIM is hosting four Preview Days (July 18, 19, 25 and 26)
where educators will not only have a chance to experience the
museum, but will also get a sneak peak at an upcoming Artist-
In-Residency program, learn about grant opportunities and
preview the museum's newest school tour options. Visit MIM.
