PANEL CORRECTIONS ■ In our August issue, the ABSOLUT San Francisco story was missing its bylines. The story was written by Daedalus Howell and photographed by Ryan Lely. ■ In last month's UpFront, we mentioned an entwine Sauvignon Blanc. entwine does not make a Sauvignon Blanc, but instead a Pinot Grigio, in addition to Chardonnay, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. ■ In our May issue story on Bombay Sapphire's "Most inspired Bartender" competition, the Calgary winner was listed incorrectly. Lee Peppinck of The Living Room is the correct winner. His winning cocktail is below: SUMMER SIPPER ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ 1½ oz. Bombay Sapphire 3 oz. cucumber consommé* ½ oz. Martini Bianco ½ oz. Pimms No. 1 ¾ oz. lavender and coriander simple syrup 3 fresh lemon wedges Muddle lemon in cocktail shaker, add liquors and simple syrup to shaker and fill with ice. Stir contents and double-strain into a Burgundy wine glass and garnish with an edible flower. *Seed and skin a cucumber, then juice. Freeze 12 hours; thaw and strain through cheesecloth.
