Brown Athletics Grant for Arizona has been awarded to Shadow Ridge High School in Surprise, AZ. The application was submitted by AEA member John P. Gray, who is the science department chair/ biology teacher and girls’ head soccer coach. The $2,500 will be used to improve the school’s athletics fields to help prevent injuries. California Casualty Field Marketing Manager Shelby Lister and State Account Manager George Shapcott presented the award during a weekly faculty meeting this past May.
