Jim remains closely involved as third-generation vintner of Concannon Vineyard and as winery ambassador. He is also the unoffi cial repository for one of the most fascinat- ing stories in California wine history. We will salute Jim in the November issue! IN MEMORY Jean Burggren, veteran wine writer and former Editor of Patterson’s Beverage Journal, passed away quietly in her sleep on September 5, 2010.
