Here's to an inventive spirit from Iceland. Hello there. Can we tell you a little story? Here in Iceland, we aren't keen to make vodka like the rest of the world. So we built the world's first Carter-Head still used for vodka. We sourced arctic spring water. And used lava rocks for filtration. Then, with our own Icelandic hands we began making preciously small batches of vodka. One of those batches was the winner of the 2011 Vodka Trophy at the International Wine and Spirit Competition. One lovable judge said our vodka is "Beautifully textured and perfectly balanced. Long finish with the cleanest of clean farewells." What a nice man. And what a nice way to end this story.
