This month, we chatted with Michael Sargeant, who was recently named Senior Marketing Manager at Anchor Brewing Company. He was previously Brand Manager – Channel Marketing & Strategy at Miller Coors. TP: How would you define Anchor Brewing's culture and what attracted you to it? MS: There is a special energy at Anchor Brewing, and there is certainly a lot about which to be excited. They have great beers. The organization is talented, collaborative and enthusiastic about the future of the brewery. TP: What advice would you give to job seekers looking for their next role? MS: Focus on finding an organization with a culture that is right for you. Network to learn as much as you can about the company or industry, and be patient for the right opportunity. TP: If you weren't sipping a drink from Anchor Brewing, you would be drinking a . . . MS: I would be drinking one of an assortment of craft beers.
