larger option, and the XMP310 is de- signed to either pair with the XMP550 in rooms still requiring two displays or for any application looking for com- pact, power-efficient, QD-OLED refer- ence monitoring. All XMP series monitors come equipped with FSI's GaiaColor Direct Connect AutoCal system that allows supported probes to be plugged direct- ly into the monitor for highly-accurate and easy-to-use calibration to all possi- ble display calibration targets. A single automated GaiaColor AutoCal process enables instant access to thousands of accurate combinations of Gamut, EOTF, white balance, luminance and signal range combinations, all without requiring a standalone computer or calibration expertise. All three Flanders Scientific XMP series monitors also feature four 12-bit capable 12G/6G/3G/1.5G SDI inputs; quick access profiles, allowing for instant, single button-press switching between monitor configurations; and a durable metal chas- sis, along with a silent, fan-less design; remote control from any computer or iOS device; and waveform, vector scope and false tools. SmallHD recently introduced their Quantum 32 reference monitor, heralded as their most advanced 4K monitor to date. Developed for highly-demand- ing reference HDR/SDR color grading and critical on-set monitoring applica- tions, Quantum 32 features a 31.5-inch 3840x2160 QD-OLED panel providing uniform luminance up to 1000 nits (3 percent APL). The application of quantum dots extends color gamut coverage to over 99 percent of DCI-P3, enabling pristine color reproduction with exceptionally wide color volume and viewing angle. Quantum 32 offers 12-bit color process- ing; true 10-bit, on-screen color; and a 1,500,000:1 contrast ratio. I/O includes four 12G/6G/3G/HD-SDI inputs and outputs, and HDMI 2.0 in/out. For on-set use, Quantum 32's robust, solid-alu- minum unibody design includes an integrated dovetail mounting rail for seamlessly mounting batteries and oth- er accessories. SmallHD's Emmy Award-winning monitor platform includes PageOS, a powerful and bespoke monitor operat- ing system. The SmallHD platform is a highly-intuitive monitor control center that has become ubiquitous on film and television productions around the world. Adding to an already robust feature set that includes exposure tools, like EL zone, waveform, vectorscope and monitor calibration wizard with Calman integration, Page OS 6 will add new features and tools, such as a redesigned color pipe interface for creation and configuration of EOTFs and transforms; new rotary controls for improved tactile adjustment of tools and settings; and internal auto-calibration tool requiring only an approved colorimeter. Multi-view functionality allows uers to simultaneous- ly compare multiple inputs, color pipes and LUTS. "Quantum 32 represents the pinnacle in our quest to make a monitor suitable for both HDR color finishing and critical on-set monitoring," explains Greg Smokler, vice president of product at SmallHD. We are excited to be able to deploy this amazing display technology in a grade 1 reference display. By offering a reference monitor that performs at the very highest level at a competitive price point, we can provide a wider audience of talented artists (with) the tools they need to fully realize their creative vision."
