He brings a wealth of experience across management, sales and creative roles, and will work to further elevate Alkemy X's presence and growth in the ever-evolv- ing media landscape. Rocks got his start as a freelancer, working as a director and DP on small-budget commercials around Pittsburgh. He later transitioned into the role of producer, and came to enjoy the development process, shooting for Pittsburgh's growing tech and robotics scene. His credits include work with DSG, University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and Pittsburgh's top advertis- ing agencies. JAMIE SLADE Chicago's 11 Dollar Bill, the post production studio that specializes in creative design, editorial and finish- ing, has hired ad industry veteran Jamie Slade, who will serve as executive producer at its Boulder, CO, studio. Slade's background includes a post as senior producer with Crispin Porter + Bogusky. He will now oversee production and head sales for the studio. 11 Dollar Bill has locations in Boulder, Chicago and Raleigh, NC. Slade part- nered with the company as a freelance producer on several recent projects. ANGIE SU Chinese-born, LA-based filmmaker Angie Su has joined the roster of directors at Sibling Films in Los Angeles. She brings an unconventional and artis- tic approach that focuses on resonating with the female experience. The appointment follows Su's 2023 partner- ship with the production company as part of the Commercial Directors Diversity Program. Her credits include work with internationally-renowned brands and artists such as Pepsi; Pizza Hut; Huawei; Vivo; cellist Lynn Harrell; Chinese singer, songwriter and actress, Chris Lee; and Chinese actress/singer Zi Yang. DAN DE WINTER Editor Dan de Winter is now being globally repre- sented by The Den Editorial. Based in Los Angeles, de Winter's career began in San Francisco, where he studied cinematography and motion graphics at the Academy of Arts. His first job was with ad agency Cutwater, where he served as an assistant editor. Since then, he's been on the editing rosters at Rock Paper Scissors and Work Editorial. De Winter has cut commercials for Sprite, FanDuel, Nike and Jordan, and music videos for Common, Jorja Smith, Marvin Gaye, and IDK featuring Offset. His long-form work includes editing Season 3 of the Netflix sports antholo- gy series Untold. One of his career highlights was the breakout film Lebron: Uninterrupted for Samsung. FELIX URQUIZA Santa Monica, CA's AFX Creative, which provides post production services for the advertising & entertainment industries, has enhanced its creative team with the recent addition of VFX artist/direc- tor Felix Urquiza, who comes onboard as executive creating director. Urquiza brings nearly 20 years of experience in the field, having worked at companies that include Method Studios, The Mill, and Team One, where he headed up their VFX/CG division TiltShift under the Team One/Publicis Groupe's USA umbrella. In his new role, Urquiza will lead the team and develop new strategies to elevate its creative focus. KENNY SHIMM Lost Planet Editorial in New York City has added East Coast-based editor Kenny Shimm to its roster. He brings a fresh and cool editing style, having reg- ularly worked on commercials for brands such as Air Jordan, Adidas, Michael Kors, KidSuper and Rockstar. Additionally, he has edited sleek black-and-white films for 1800 Cristalino featuring R&B singer Kali Uchis, photographer Gunner Stahl and famed Mexican soccer player Jonathan Dos Santos. His Netflix work on the promo short Chloe Vietch Tries Love Is Blind blends several of the streamer's unscripted series. BECCA SPAVEN Becca Spaven has joined the editorial roster at Marshall Street Editors in London. She's built a strong client base, having working with brands that include Doritos, McDonalds, Nature Valley, and Azo & Estroven. Hailing from Chester, Spaven began her career as a videographer & editor before moving to London, where she worked with agency Who Wot Why. Her dynamic editing style largely lends itself to comedy and character performances. KIER LEHMAN Radish Music in Los Angeles has appointed Emmy- and Grammy-nominated music supervisor Kier Lehman to a roster position. A five-time winner of the Guild of Music Supervisor awards, Lehman has forged a robust, decades-long career across film and television, with credits that include The Lego Movie and HBO's Insecure. His work on Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse contributed to the film's massive success, with its hit single "Sunflower" achieving double diamond status with sales of more than 20 mil- lion units. Lehman has also built up a strong commercial portfolio, notably working with Radish Music's founder Peymon Maskan on Apple's Shot on iPhone cam- paign and The Rock x Siri Dominate The Day. He has also completed projects for clients that include Spotify and Peloton. In his new role, Lehman will contin- ue his development in advertising, while lending his ear to special projects and applying his cinematic expertise.
