Around AEA
Building Strong Locals and Leaders
During the second week of June, local association officers and site leaders attended trainings focused on
building leadership skills and potential. The week started with Officers' Training for newly elected local
association officers, then Leaders Academy for developing leaders, and finally Summer Institute for site
leaders. These trainings were provided by AEA officers and staff and covered topics from finances to
bargaining and advocacy.
