Yu - rei a Japanese ghost who haunts various characters. Fabric was sourced from Kyoto specifically for the chirimen (the silk required to make the kimono), gauzes, and silks from Whaley's in London, Mood, and ISW, as well as local Vancouver sources. "We used hand painting, silk screening, ombré dyeing, among other techniques. I had the pleasure of working with so many wonderful crew, both local and from LA that I hadn't met previously, key persons being fellow Costume Designer J.R. Hawbaker, with whom I co-designed episode 1 and 2, and CD Takashi (Ash) Bernhardt as ACD and military uniform advisor." CD Olivia Miles is designing Lovestruck, a one-hour pilot for Fox described as a 'structurally inventive dramedy.' Its entire first season is set during the course of a single night at a wedding. As viewers become acquainted with the wedding party, they see that the bonds of love, friendship, and family can be complicated. Led by fearless director Sanaa Hamri, Rachel Bilson and Steve Kazee play the bride and groom. He is a charming music journalist, while she is 'a bolt of pure sunshine' who works in music education. Miles says, "It is a blast to be working with writer/creator Tom Kapinos again, as well as vet- eran actor and fashionista Andie MacDowell from one of my favorite projects, Jane by Design. Dual-card members Tammy Francis and Jonathan Parra support as keys in LA and Atlanta, respectively. We had to really love the costumes selected because the actors may wear them for the entire first season. From producers MPK and RuPaul Charles, CD Trayce Gigi Field just wrapped AJ and the Queen for Netflix, fea- turing RuPaul in his first starring role as Robert, a drag queen from New York City. The guest cast includes many faces from Drag Race, including Cher imper- sonator Chad Michaels, and familiar actors like Mario Cantone (Sex and the City) doing drag for the first time. Field embraced new techniques as she learned the 'Art of the Tuck,' tricks of the corset, chest plate secrets, and more. Every week, the lead characters travel to a new state to show viewers that everyone is putting on some form of drag in their daily lives. Field was assisted by ACD Minnie Garcia. Field says, "This show has everything—feel-good moments, love, sadness, highs, lows, and a drag number or two in every episode. So proud of this one!"
