Summer 2018 The Costume Designer 53 FIDM Creative Director of Film & TV Costume Design, CD Jacqueline Saint Anne, col- laborated with Disney Pixar to open a student-designed exhibit promoting the opening of Incredibles 2. All of the students collaborated on designing and building three new super suits for Mr. Incredible, Violet, and Dash for the Incredibles 2 Art Show at Gallery Nucleus in Alhambra. The students, along with Saint Anne, attended the opening dressed and wigged as Edna Mode. BFN - EXHIBTIONS IN FOCUS BOLDFACE NAMES BFN - EDUCATION Two-time Academy Award winner CD Mark Bridges served as the 2018 David C. Copley Center Swarovski Designer-in-Residence, making him the fifth designer to be awarded the honor. During his two-week residency, he held Master Classes with UCLA/TFT graduate and undergraduate Costume De- sign students who were designing The Art- ist, which garnered Bridges the Oscar for Costume Design in 2012.
