I The Bronze Bronze ingots are placed in a holding tank with a capacity of more than 350 pounds. The metal is then filtered through dividers, where the melting begins. While the bronze goes through the three-hour melting process, the sculptures are placed in special ovens to bring them to the same temperature as the bronze and to crystalize the ceramic mold. Once the bronze is ready, it is poured into the secondary mold. J Breaking The Mold After cooling, the artisans break the casting mold away from the bronze and the statue is sand blasted to remove any remaining pieces of the mold.
