NEA FOUNDATION GRANTS The NEA Foundation awards grants of up to $5,000 exclusively to AEA members to enhance teaching and learning: • Student Achievement Grants support initiatives that improve academic achievement. • Learning & Leadership Grants support high-quality professional development. Active NEA members who are practicing K-12 public school teachers, education support professionals, and higher education faculty and staff at public colleges and universities may apply online. Preference is currently being given to projects that incorporate STEM and/or global learning, as well as projects with leads/partners that are education support professionals. LIFELONG ARTS ENGAGEMENT GRANT The Arizona Commission on the Arts provides Lifelong Arts Engagement Grants to support partnerships that foster meaningful arts learning experiences in a variety of community settings for learners of any age. Community/social service organizations or governmental entities partnered with arts organizations or professional teaching artists are eligible to apply online at azarts.gov/grant/lifelong-arts-engagement. FIELD TRIP GRANTS FROM THE CIVIL WAR TRUST Want to get outdoors for a history lesson? The Civil War Trust's fi eld trip grants allow K-12 educators to take students on learning trips at natural historic sites. In particular, The Trust provides grants up to $1,500 to help educators plan fi eld trips to Civil War, War of 1812, and Revolutionary War battlefi elds, as well as related historic sites. IGT AFTER SCHOOL ADVANTAGE GRANTS Since 1999, IGT has provided grants that support after-school programs for economically disadvantaged students. In particular, IGT focuses on digital initiatives, designed to close the digital divide, as well as technology for students. During their grant-giving history, IGT has donated more than 270 computer labs across the U.S. and in several other countries. AMERICAN HONDA FOUNDATION GRANTS FOR EDUCATION The American Honda Foundation makes grants to K-12 schools, colleges, universities, trade schools, and other youth-focused nonprofi t organizations for programs that benefi t youth and scientifi c education. ESTHER KATZ ROSEN FUND The American Psychological Foundation provides grants up to $50,000 through the Esther Katz Rosen Fund for work related to the psychological understanding of gifted children and youth. The Ester Katz Rosen Fund was established in 1974 by a generous bequest intended to support "…activities related to the advancement and application of knowledge about gifted children." FUEL UP TO PLAY 60 GRANTS Fuel Up to Play 60 funds schools' attempts to jumpstart and sustain healthy nutrition and physical activity improvements. The maximum award is $4,000. LOWE'S TOOLBOX FOR EDUCATION GRANTS Each year, the Lowe's Toolbox for Education grants program contributes more than $5 million to fund improvements at public schools in the United States. Projects should fall into one of the following categories: technology upgrades, tools for STEM programs, facility renovations and safety improvements. Projects should address a critical need and align with Lowe's company purpose; to help people love where they live. Toolbox grant requests can range from $2,000 to $100,000.
