Latino Committee Elects Co-Chairs Directors Regina Ainsworth, Rami Rivera Frankl, and Alejandro Treviño have been elected co-chairs of the Latino Committee. Ainsworth's credits include the spec pilots The Project and Law & Order: The Musical. She is currently developing the sci-fi web-series NIA. A member of the DGA since 2015, she also served as a Co-Coordinator for Proposals for both the DGA Woman's Steering Committee and the Latino Committee. Frankl has worked in the film and television industry for over 20 years. His directing credits include Kuumba Shule and Courage to Triumph. A DGA member since 2010, Frankl previously served as a Latino Committee Co-Chair from 2015-2017. Treviño's filmography includes episodes of the online series La Chamba and Si! Es I, Pepe; and video spots for the website Funny or Die. He has been a member of the DGA since 2013 and also previously served as a Latino Committee Co- Chair from 2015-2017. About the Latino Committee The Latino Committee was created as a networking group to advance career and job opportunities for Latino DGA members by improving craft skills, networking, and enhancing their job opportunities in both the English and Spanish-speaking media. The Committee meets monthly and schedules several special events throughout the year.
