Sixty-nine Oregon producers contributed one-off Pinot Noirs from the lauded 2015 vintage for auction, drawing more than 400 attendees and raising close to half a million dollars for the regional association. Heating Up H EINEKEN USA has announced the Dos Equis "Taste Adventure All Summer" program to heat up retail sales and cool off summer drinking occasions. The program leverages the overall growth of Mexican Imports and the rising popularity of beer served in cans. Inspired by the brand's Most Interesting Man in the World advertising campaign, the new program will help consumers set forth on their own round of summer expeditions. An off-premise sweepstakes includes Dos Equis Summer Can Buckets for quick cooling and serving at their next outdoor occasion, and an on-premise offer for digital or Uber gift cards. A grand prize Dos Equis–sponsored adventure will make sure consumers have a story to tell as compelling as the stories of the Most Interesting Man. Real McCoy Spirits, makers of the rum inspired by Prohibition rum runner Bill McCoy, has announced the appointment of industry veteran John Esposito as the company's new Chairman. John Esposito brings 40 years of leadership experience in all three tiers of the distilled spirits industry to the role of Real McCoy Spirits Chairman. Esposito has also served as CEO of High West Distillery, President of Stoli Group USA, CEO of Bacardi North America; President and CEO of Schieffelin & Somerset and Moët Hennessy USA, as well as President of one of the largest distributors in the country, Premier Beverage of Florida. Mast- Jägermeister U.S. has named Chris Peddy as Chief Marketing Officer. Peddy will oversee Jägermeister's bold new brand identity launch, as well as all aspects of the U.S. mar- keting platforms, brand strategy and innovation, digital marketing, customer marketing and public relations. The new role will be effective immediately. Peddy will report directly to Jeff Popkin, CEO of Mast-Jägermeister U.S. Ted Carmon has been promoted to Vice-President, GMM Wine for BevMo! Ted's career with the company started in 2010 as Buyer, Spirits of BevMo! In March of 2016, Ted joined its Wine Team as Category Manager and, in June of 2016, was promoted to Senior Director, GMM Wine.
