any beloved members passed away in the last
year. We've experienced the loss of talented actors,
accomplished recording artists and broadcasters.
For SAG-AFTRA, the deaths of three union leaders
cut particularly deep: former SAG presidents Anna Patty Duke
Pearce and William Schallert, and Ken Howard, who passed away
while serving as SAG-AFTRA's first elected president. Each left a
lasting mark on the union they loved so well, and we are deeply
