The new solutions include the ev Series Reader Atomos Master Caddy Edition, the Atomos Master Caddy 4K by G-Technology and the Atomos Master Caddy HD by G-Technology. In addition, the G-Technology ev Series Reader CFast 2.0 Edition sup- ports fast CFast media cards for 4K video workflows for people using pro- fessional cameras. Furthermore, the rugged and lightweight G-Tech 2TB G-Drive ev RaW has been updated with up to 100 percent more capacity. "Data management and the cre- ative processes used in the media and entertainment industry are con- stantly evolving," says Mike Williams, vice president of G-Technology, a Western Digital brand. "Time is mon- ey when it comes to the ability to transfer and ingest captured 4K, HDR and HD video from production into post production. Eliminating some of the headaches that comes with that can make all the difference, and that's exactly the genesis of these new advanced storage solutions. It's been especially rewarding working with Atomos on these new-generation products that help streamline the creative workflow process." "Media affordability and faster workflows are two pillars that have made Atomos one of the fastest growing companies in the video in- dustry," adds Jeromy Young, CEO and co-founder of Atomos. We are always extremely proud to partner with industry leading solutions like G-Technology, delivering Apple ProRes 4K HDR for under $150 per hour with the peace of mind of a guaranteed manufacturer's solution." The Atomos-compatible Reader and Caddys by G-Technology helps solve the challenge of getting media from the set into the edit suite. With SSD configurations achieving transfer rates surpassing 500MB/s, the Atomos Master Caddy 4K by G-Technology inserts directly into any Atomos-compatible recorder. The Caddy then slides into the ev Series Reader Atomos Master Caddy Edition, which slips into any G-Dock ev or G-Speed Shuttle XL with ev Series Bay Adapters. This combination makes quick, cable-free work of transferring footage into main project storage, creating backups and quickly turning around formatted media. Now avail- able, the manufacturer's suggested retail price is $99.95 for the 1TB HD version, $149.95 for 256GB, $249.95 for 512GB, and $349.95 for 1TB in the SSD- based versions. Leveraging high-perfor- mance USB Type C connec- tivity, the ev Series Reader Atomos Master Caddy Edition is one of the latest accesso- ries in the Evolution Series of high-performance, flexible storage solutions.
