Hyperspace states are natural mental/physical states characterized by extraordinary, inexplicable manifestations, such as peak experiences of mysticism, near-death, lucid dreaming, alien contact, quantum entanglement and the like. Studies show these states and others correspond to the presence of endogenous, pineal gland-secreted DMT. In fact, the author reports that small amounts of DMT occur in virtually all living systems researched. Since it is classifi ed as a Schedule I Controlled Substance, we are all "holding." That imbibing non-endogenous DMT dramatically heightens such states and experiences is an understatement, as innumerable accounts testify. Equally telling are the teachings and practices of those who cultivate the effects of the endogenous product. For example, Colorado Springs Rabbi David Bakst teaches techniques at his yeshiva designed to excite the pineal and elevate individual consciousness, and simultaneously to collectively stimulate cultural enlightenment through excitation of the "world pineal"—bringing about an Old Testament-prophesied Jerusalem of the mind using "messianic DMT." Meanwhile a large and growing subculture, centered largely in Australia, forges ahead with profound ambitions in visual and performance arts, music, even shpongle, a new language, all intending to communicate the inexpressible. We are surrounded by the immensity of silent space, between atoms and among galaxies, not empty, but pregnant with meaning and design: hyperspace. By whatever means, to bust the blinders of our cultural conditioning is to open our hearts and souls to that realm, where our profoundest inherent freedom and potency are fulfi lled. From quantum and dark-matter theories to McKenna-esque Burning Man raves to radical Kabbalists, this book is bound to blow your mind. (Evolver Editions) august/september 2016 33
