Elvis & Nixon reveals the true story behind one of the most unusual get-togethers in history that started one December morning in 1970 when the King of Rock 'n Roll showed up on the lawn of the White House to request a meeting with the most powerful man in the world. What ensued is one of the oddest conferences ever to take place in the Oval Offi ce, forever immortalized in the most requested photograph in the National Archives. Elvis & Nixon is this year's Centerpiece fi lm at the Tribeca Film Festival. The screening will be followed by a Q&A with Director Liza Johnson.
