TASTINGS Rosé Rendezvous OUR 2015 HOLIDAY SPARKLING WINE TASTING NETTED SOME PERFECT PINKS HE TASTING PANEL's call for rosé Champagnes and other rosy sparkling wines did not go unheeded. On December 15 of last year, we hosted local press and trade at our annual holiday tasting at restaurant Sotto, in Los Angeles's Pico-Robertson district, where we poured the treasures. The bubbles flowed, the guests glowed—and we finished the evening with a staff dinner prepared by Sotto owner Steve Samson and Chef de Cuisine Daniel Cutler and their kitchen brigade. Thanks to the entire Sotto staff for making this another memorable occasion. My tasting notes on the Champagnes and other bubblies are below.
