She was director of creative services at Company 3, executive producer of post at AllDayEveryDay and senior producer at Cutting Room. Angela Bowen joins Nice Shoes Creative Studio, which launched last June, as executive producer, taking on leadership of the studio's design, live action, VFX and animation team. She has led Psyop and MassMarket as executive pro- ducer for a decade. Creative Studio has been making inroads in VR and AR. CHRIS HALL LA colorist Chris Hall brought his color grading and online editorial skills to his new home at Trailblazer Studios in Raleigh, NC. Previously a finishing colorist at Bandito Brothers in Culver City and at Prehistoric Digital in Santa Monica, Hall worked on feature films that include Act of Valor and Rich Hill. He has also colored a plethora of TV shows, commercials and music videos for the likes of Jaguar, Kellogg's, Mattel, Lexus, Hallmark and Lifetime. Since joining Trailblazer Studios, Hall has colored shows for DIY (Salvage Dawgs), PBS (A Chef's Life), and TLC (Sister Wives), as well as TV commercials and branding pieces. JASON MAYO New York's Humble has hired Jason Mayo as director of business development. Mayo served a 14-year ten- ure as a partner at Click 3X. He will help continue the evolution of Humble, as well as play a key role in the growth of its sister company, design and VFX studio Postal. Mayo will work alongside creative director Sam Stephens to add top talent as well as continue to build and develop its already strong footing in the post world. JEFF BLODGETT Culver City, CA-based visual effects house Zoic Studios has added Jeff Blodgett as executive produc- er. Blodgett has over two decades of experience as an executive producer in VFX/animation, with lengthy stints at top studios Sight Effects, Radium/Reel FX and Brickyard VFX. Blodgett joins current commer- cial division executive producers Ian Unterreiner and Matt Thunell. He has worked as executive producer of commercials at Radium/Reel FX, working on spots for such top clients at Target, BMW, Pepsi and Fidelity, and worked with Brickyard VFX in 2010, spending five years as executive producer for the Santa Monica, CA/Boston, MA-based post shop. TOBIAS SUHM International editorial company Whitehouse Post welcomes Tobias Suhm to its LA studio. For more than a decade, Suhm has worked all over the world, editing award-winning work for top brands such as Nike, Mercedes, BMW, Gucci, Lexus, Kohler and Stella Artois. Widely known for his editorial prowess in the European production community, he has established many director relationships. A versatile talent, Suhm has edited music videos, documentaries and short films. His commercial work has been honored at the London International Awards and most recently, included in the 2015 APA Collection. ALEX MAHON Alex Mahon, former CEO of Shine Group, has joined design and visual effects software firm, The Foundry, as chief executive. Mahon joined Shine Group, the production company behind such hits as MasterChef, Spooks and Broadchurch, in 2006 and built it up into a business operating in 12 countries. She had previously held senior positions at Talkback Thames, FremantleMedia Group and RTL Group. The Foundry is headquartered in London, with offices in Silicon Valley, Manchester, Los Angeles, Shanghai, Dublin and Austin. BRUCE GINSBERG NYC's Nutmeg, the creative marketing, content-de- velopment, production and post resource, has hired Bruce Ginsberg as SVP business development. He brings 20-plus years of new business development experience for brands, broadcast, advertising and interactive clients to the studio. Ginsberg previously served in the same capacity at MCD, a digital customer experience agency. He has led the growth and innovation efforts at Omnicom's Emanate PR, Ryan Partnership and US Concepts/CoActive Marketing, and has created consumer-targeted programs and campaigns, both online and off. BRIAN BUTCHER Los Angeles-based production studio Iron Claw has brought on Brian Butcher as executive producer. An Emmy-nominated producer with more than a decade of experience across a range of leading-edge me- dia, Butcher will work closely with founder/executive creative director Sean Koriakin in building the com- pany's repertoire of work in commercials, main titles, video games, broadcast and experience design. Most recently, Butcher was senior producer at Imaginary Forces, working in both the New York and Los Angeles locations. During his five-year tenure, he worked on commercial projects for Toyota, Nike, Ram Trucks, Sapporo, Powerade, AT&T and Propel; main title sequences for the Starz original drama Black Sails; and the Guillermo del Toro-directed feature Pacific Rim.
