38 LIVEMAGS.NET JANUARY>>10 Introducing a New Green Wave! The Pole is a full self-sufficient power system – driven by solar panels and a wind turbine. It can power a standard LED street, parking, freeway or highway light from "dusk until dawn" -- just like the street light in front of your home that is tied to the electrical grid. The Pole also can be outfitted with a cell sender/receiver or satellite DSL sender/receiver; and an inverter that can charge cell phones and lap tops; run a hair dryer, a hot plate, or even an oven. What is really amazing is that the Pole can do all of this-- just about anywhere on the planet! Envision being in the middle of the jungle, desert or the mountains and being able to walk up to the Pole and call your mom; or email your friends a photograph that proves the landscape is simply awesome. The possible uses for the Pole and its power system are almost endless. How about for security or "safety" lighting and power at remote resorts, campgrounds or beaches; or at convenient locations on hiking trails, farms, ranches and eco-preserves? Or as lighting on remote film sets or locations? Think of using the Pole in developing countries, where it simply costs too much to run grid to villages that desperately need light and power to get water out of the ground or purify what water is available? Closer to home, using the Poles in parking lots could create "islands of safety" in case of natural disasters or public emergencies. Or they could be used as street and parking lot lighting in subdivisions, towns and cities. Not only will the Poles save fossil fuel by generating megawatts of clean power, but, if the grid power goes out, the lights will stay on!
