WAYS TO INSURE A TRIP WILL HAPPEN: • Go to an AAA outlet to find brochures or talk to an agent. • Make a reservation by putting money down on a trip. • Send an e-mail to friends and ask who wants to come along. Then join forces and make a plan to save the money to go. CLEAN HOUSE There are some who actually need to clean up the mess in the house. It could dwell in your closets, cabinets, garages, computers, fireplaces, yards or drawers. If there's a lot of "donder" in your house then you'd better resolve to clean it up this year. IDEAS FOR CLEAN-UP: • You can call Merry Maids or. . . • You can have a cleaning party. Pick one facet of the cleanup at a time--if you get overly ambitious and think you can clean-sweep it, you're wrong. Schedule two or three cleaning activities over a couple of months and reward your friends with food and drink while you work. At the end, collapse on the couch and watch a movie. You'll owe the friends a cleanup session or two, but it's always more bearable at someone else's place. • Perhaps cleaning house means something different to you. Maybe you need to clean up the excess stuff that's accumulated in your relationship, or even in your head. That's something else entirely.
