ON LOCATION HOLLYWOOD DIVISION STUNT PERFORMERS SALUTE HARRISON FORD A t its 50th anniversary celebration dinner on September 24, the Stuntmen's Association honored Harrison Ford for his contributions to the industry. Many of Ford's best-loved films contain non-stop action, including the Indiana Jones series, Star Wars and The Fugitive. Attendees, including SAG 1st Vice President Ned Vaughn, SAG Secretary-Treasurer Amy Aquino and Conrad Palmisano, chair of the National Stunt & Safety Committee and vice president of the Stuntmen's Association, were treated to a highlight reel of Ford's greatest onscreen moments. SAG NEW MEDIA TAKES ON NEW FRONTIERS and the SAG Foundation presented a panel discussion titled New Frontiers in New Media. The panel included Mark Friedlander, national director of SAG New Media, as A CONSERVATORY PRESENTS ED HARRIS for a special evening at the Hollywood Conservatory on October 1. Members heard Harris talk about his craſt and had the opportunity to ask questions. Harris, best known for his roles in The Truman Show, The Abyss, A Beautiful Mind and Apollo 13, is pictured with Hollywood Conservatory Committee member Angela Watson, who moderated the event.
