Short-listed for the 2014 Louis Roederer Online Wine Communicator of the Year Award, she also writes for Decanter, TimAtkin.com, Food Arts, Santé and Civiltà del Bere, among others. She has contributed to three books, including the Gourmand Award–winning Rock and Vine. A shopping fanatic, Christy previously bought wine, beer and booze across the U.S. for Smith & Wollensky Restaurant Group and around the globe for Culinary Concepts by Jean-Georges Vongerichten. Jessica Dupuy is a freelance writer with writing credits for Texas Monthly, National Geographic Traveler, Imbibe, Fodors, The Hollywood Reporter, Saveur, Texas Highways and numerous Austin publications. Her passion for wine has led her to the level of Certified Sommelier through the Court of Master Sommeliers as well as Certified Specialist of Wine and Certified Specialist of Spirits through the Society of Wine Educators. She is a member of Les Dames d'Escoffier–Austin and is on the advisory board for the Wine and Food Foundation of Texas. Jamie Goode, Ph.D., is a U.K.-based wine writer with a special interest in the science of wine. A weekly columnist for The Sunday Express, he writes for a range of wine magazines and for his own website, www.wineanorak. com. His first book, The Science of Wine, was published by the University of California Press in 2006. Roger Morris writes about wine, food, and travel for a number of publications, including Saveur, Robb Report, Beverage Media and epicurious. com. A resident of Pennsylvania, he also wrrites a weekly column for the regional Delaware newspa- per, The NewsJournal. Cliff Rames serves as Sommelier in the Plaza Hotel in New York City, as well as guest instruc- tor at the NYC Wine Class. He teaches private wine education classes, organizes private wine events and provides social media and market- ing consultation. Cliff is founder of Wines of Croatia and a regular contributor to the Wines of Croatia blog, which was a 2013 Wine Blog Awards Finalist for "Best Wine Reviews." Cliff's formal wine accredi- tation includes the Court of Master Sommeliers Certified Sommelier program, the WSET Advanced Certificate and the Society of Wine Educators Certified Specialist of Wine. Merrill Shindler is editor of the Zagat Los Angeles Restaurant Survey, and host of CBS Radio's weekly Feed Your Face program. He's also the author of American Dish and the El Cholo Cookbook. He's from the Bronx, where he was raised on deli, pizza and Chinese on Sunday nights. He firmly believes that ketchup is nature's most perfect food.
