SIMON KERR UK-based Nugen Audio has appointed Simon Kerr chief marketing officer. He will oversee the company's global marketing strategy and will manage Nugen Audio's North American office, which recently opened in New York City. Before joining Nugen Audio, Kerr served as director of marketing communications for pro- fessional imaging products at Canon USA. There, he spearheaded the launch and marketing of the Cinema EOS line of cameras. He has a back- ground in documentary filmmaking for TV, and has lectured in video production at Leeds Metro- politan University in the UK before migrating to New York 15 years ago. JEFF COHEN Archimedia Technology in Delray Beach, FL, is a new company whose technology and applications bridge the gap between content producers and their archives without loss of quality. The company recently appointed Jeff Cohen VP of sales, responsible for US sales east of the Mississippi River. Cohen's career spans nearly three decades. He has amassed a strong technical and engineering background, with an emphasis on end-to-end systems and solutions. Most recently, Cohen was responsible for business development and oversaw all sales in the Eastern US and Canada for Sohonet. GREG HOSKIN Burlington, MA's Signiant, the provider of intelligent file movement software for the media and entertainment industry, has appointed Greg Hoskin managing director. He will be responsi- ble for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, as well as the Asia-Pacific markets. His appointment fol- lows the recent addition of several members to the sales team, including regional sales director Jonathan Lunness, regional sales manager James Mansfield, and key account manager Jamie Lakin. RICH JONELEIT Full service equipment rental group Arri CSC has added Rich Joneleit to the team at its camera rental office in Seacaucus, NJ. As a camera-rental agent, he will be responsible for establishing and maintaining strong client rela- tionships. Joneleit brings over seven years of experience as a camera-rental agent in the motion picture industry. After graduating from KERR COHEN RUMBERG MALONE HOSKIN JONELEIT New York University, Tisch School of the Arts in 2006, he started working for Clairmont Camera in Los Angeles before joining TCS in New York in 2013. JENS RUMBERG London-based Codex, which offers record- ers and media processing systems that stream- line the transfer of digital files and images from camera through to post production, has hired Jens Rumberg as its new director of product strategy. Rumberg brings over a decade of expe- rience in motion picture image-science, digital camera and workflow development. He will focus on developing the company's current and next-generation product ranges for motion pic- ture and high-end TV production. Rumberg joins Codex following 10 years in senior technology roles at Arri, Germany. He was most recently the technical supervisor of the company's Alexa XT digital cinema camera. PATRICK MALONE, CHRIS QUESTED Goldcrest Post in London has appointed Patrick Malone as managing director. He will oversee the accelerated growth of the compa- ny's DI department, in addition to strengthening the executive management of the existing sound facility, which received the Academy Award for Les Misérables. Malone most recently served as head of DI at Company 3, where he was responsible for their work on feature films. In related news, Chris Quested has been pro- moted to CEO of Goldcrest Post. PETER TANNER Toronto's Southpaw Technology, which offers Tactic open source digital asset manage- ment and workflow technology, has hired workflow veteran Peter Tanner as head of product development. In his new role, Tanner will drive the development of new product modules built on the Tactic platform. He will focus initially on broadcast clients, as well as on solutions for the wider enterprise market. Tanner is a television broadcast veteran, with extensive experience in developing and man- aging digital workflows. For the past 13 years, he has been honing his skills at Bell Media's CTV as the manager of media and on-air ser vices.
