YOUR VOTE COUNTS! Actor recipients are chosen by you, the membership. Te SAG Awards was the first televised awards show conceived by a union to acknowledge the work of its members. And it’s the only top industry honors for performers selected exclusively by actors’ peers. Our large national voting body—more than 125,000 SAG members— is one of the reasons the SAG Awards is so widely respected by the industry, the media and the millions of viewers of the Awards telecast. Tey know and we know that our members understand the hard work and mutual collaboration it takes for a great actor or ensemble to create an outstanding performance. By taking the time to see as many of this year’s films and television programs as you can and then casting your ballot, you’ll have a real stake in the outcome as your fellow actors take the stage to accept their Actor statuettes on January 30.
