Notes LM Benjamin Hendriks/LMGI: "Film crews are finding their way to Spain, and will do so even more after another successful edition of SLM. Carolina and her team did a great job organizing yet another successful event, with many interesting people attending. There was a great variety of regions explaining incentives, showcasing beautiful locations and providing strong infrastructure support—not to mention all the professional colleagues I met, both old and new. Gracias, Spain!" Adds Yepes, "This year, we are partnering with more associations such as EAVE, EPC, PGGB, AFCI, EUFCN, AFCNET and IBEROFIC. Our strategy is to grow our international connections and continue expanding our Fam Tour offerings. In the planning stages are new tours to Estonia and Turkey. Not only film commissions, but also production service companies and film studios are relying on us to showcase their services to location scouts and producers. A U.S. executive producer attendee noted a growing normalization across U.S. productions where, even when their home base is domestic, they take a unit international to build scope. It's a trend, and we want to be part of it."
