Says SLM International Coordinator Carolina Yepes, "Last year's edition was
a turning point for us, as it was our fifth anniversary. We not only had more
participants joining from all over the world, but also a diverse representation of
public and private companies. We pride ourselves on offering a safe space where
experienced film commissions and production service companies that handle large
productions can share their knowledge and challenges with smaller ones—learning
from each other and helping to create an increasingly professional industry. We are
focused on knowledge transfer, and we can do this because SLM remains a boutique
event where we can all get to know each other and spend quality time."
