Simon on the Lot Simon storms through the studio lot and soundstage, once again trying to keep his powers at bay after learning the truth about Trevor. This is another Simon ticking-bomb sequence which culminates in catastrophe. Yahya was mounted with a camera body rig and a wide-angle lens, so the camera was locked on him from the chest up while he moved freely through the soundstage and everything went flying in the background. A drone was used to capture the destruction from a high angle. "On Wonder Man, we storyboarded several key sequences, and the boards became essential for aligning all the departments. They clarified responsibilities, helped us determine what should be practical, SFX or VFX, and let us fine-tune the visual approach. After each pass, the director and I often reshaped our shot list based on what the boards revealed. Working with Tim was a pleasure. He understood the visual grammar of the series, responded quickly to notes and could flesh out beats we hadn't fully articulated. I'd give him photo boards from our scouts, floor plans and location stills, and he'd translate them into clear, accurate boards that every department head could immediately understand and use."
