What I know about Bobbi is she's great at her job, she's kind, gives her all to everything she's involved with, has a fantastic ear for sound of course and is an overall exceptional human being! Bobbi cares for her fellow human beings. She supports others and helps other folks with their dreams . Bobbi is a warrior! She battles for things she believes in. Bobbi loves film and her work in film. She lights up when she talks about her job & that's someone I will always want to work with. Congratulations Queen Bobbi, enjoy this journey of appreciation you so deserve another major accomplishment! Notes PHIL STOCKTON S O U N D E D I T O R I've known Bobbi since the late 80s when she worked in the dubbing room at Sound One in New York, and I was a fledgling sound editor working on low budget movies. (Yes, we're old, but that's 1980s not 1880s). When she moved to Los Angeles, we continued to stay in touch over the years through one thing or another. I have always enjoyed catching up with her and have always appreciated her dedication to her work as an editor, a Guild member, and in so many other aspects of our field. I send her my heartfelt congratulations, and wish her all the best in her future endeavors. Go Bobbi!! BERNARD WEISER F I L M E D I T O R Congratulations, Bobbi, on this well- deserved recognition! It has been a pleasure to work with you for over 25+ years and to watch you grow as a sound editor and supervisor. You have always been dedicated to our industry, demonstrated by your time as president of the Motion Picture Sound Editors, a member of the Television Academy's Board of Governors, and a committee member for the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. Along with your success in the craft of sound, what is most inspiring is your commitment to advancing diversity and inclusion in post- production and your work with MPEG to further issues important to our community. It is incredibly fitting that the Motion Picture Editors Guild is honoring you with the Fellowship & Service Award. Banks Notes
