6 • LMGI COMPASS | Winter 2026 CONTRIBUTORS Eric Klein/LMGI New York-based Eric Klein has done it all in locations for more than 30 years, from big-budget features like Jungle Fever and New Jack City to commercials, music videos and episodic television such as The Equalizer and The Get Down. Although he has more than 200 credits, he is most proud of his work on the LMGI Board and his efforts to organize the first New York-area Location Department unions. In 2012, he played a key role in bringing New York's Association of Location Scouts & Managers (ALSAM) into Teamsters Local 817. Klein began his career as a parking coordinator and later worked for many years as a location manager. These days, he focuses most of his time and energy on scouting. Based primarily in the Northeast, he remains open to projects anywhere. Klein has served on the LMGI Board for six years and is the Northeast Regional Chair for the LMGI Regional Subcommittee. He is currently passionate about traveling to every country and every state and is planning a walk along the Camino de Santiago. Albert Chi/LMGI Albert Chi began his career producing music videos with Paul Thomas Anderson and co-produced feature films The Master, Inherent Vice and Gemini. He served as LM on nonunion feature films until joining the Hollywood Teamsters 399 in 2017. Since then, he has served as a KALM on the feature films Fast & Furious 9, Fast X and the TV series The Offer, American Gigolo, Loot and Paradise. He lives in California and enjoys spending time with his family and announcing play by play for local college football and little league baseball games. Shaun O'Banion Shaun O'Banion is a Gotham Award-winning producer cur- rently living and working in Prague, Czech Republic. He has written articles for MovieMaker Magazine, Filmmaker Magazine and is a regular contributor on Stage32.com Joe Mennella/LMGI Joseph E. Mennella is a Brooklyn- born native New Yorker with more than 35 years of experience as a location manager, scout and photographer for all media, including feature films, episodic TV, commercials and events. Mennella's credits include scouting for shows such as The Morning Show, Goosebumps 2, The Best Man, Brightside, Prodigal Son, FBI: Most Wanted, Exhibiting Forgiveness, Tàr, American Gangster, Night at the Museum, A Beautiful Mind, Wall Street 2 and The Nanny Diaries. Entirely self-taught, he is currently pursuing new challenges in architectural and design-based photography while remaining true to his roots in film and TV production, maintaining a cinematic style that offers a distinctive and fresh approach to the genre. Angus Ledgerwood/LMGI Angus Ledgerwood has worked in locations for more than 14 years, starting out in Queensland, Australia, as a location scout and assistant. Angus has since developed his career in L.A., London and New York across film, television and commercials. Currently based in London, Angus' location managing credits most recently include The Diplomat, Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, Marvel's Secret Invasion and Living, along with numerous commercials. Angus also worked with Screen Queensland early in his career, where he developed and launched their locations database to attract films such as San Andreas, Thor and Pirates of the Caribbean 5 to film in Queensland.
