O R G 21 On the evening of September 4, the Cinema Audio Society gathered more than 100 sound professionals and their guests at the Sunset House from 7 to 10 p.m. for an exclusive CAS celebration honoring this year's Emmy nominees in the category of Outstanding Sound Mixing. The Dolby-sponsored reception served as both recognition of the artistry behind television's most compelling soundtracks and a chance for the community to come together in celebration. Guests were welcomed with a red carpet arrival and ushered into a setting designed for both elegance and ease. Signature cocktails, curated hors d'oeuvres, and valet service added refinement, while multiple rooms provided distinct spaces for conversation and connection. The atmosphere struck a balance between professional admiration and social connection, with mixers and their supporters sharing stories, toasts, and anticipation for the upcoming Emmy Awards. The evening reflected CAS's enduring mission to spotlight the craft of sound mixing and the people who shape how audiences experience storytelling. By dedicating a night solely to the Emmy nominees for Outstanding Sound Mixing, the Society emphasized the pride, artistry, and camaraderie at the heart of the sound mixing community. The Sunset House gathering was a great success, bringing the sound mixing community together in celebration of the impactful artistry and craftsmanship of this year's nominees.
