22 WINTER 2026 JACK TAGGART Jack grew up in North Carolina and was an actor, singer, and dancer. While getting his undergrad degree, he took costume and set classes as part of his curriculum for theater. On the recommendation of his professor, Jack switched from acting to costume designing where he won multiple theater competitions in the Southeast. He went on to attend graduate school at UC San Diego getting his master's degree in costume and set design. Jack joined Local 705 in 2000. He started out at a nonunion shop, assisting in specialty builds and walk-abouts. While there, the film Galaxy Quest required some specialty builds so Jack, along with a few others, got their union days on the film building aliens and spacesuits. GINA SCARNATI Gina has been doing costumes her whole life. She started doing theater in high school and then was introduced to the Wilmington Drama League by her drama/English teacher, where their Costume Designer, Ruby Stanley, became Gina's early mentor. She attended the University of Delaware and by the time she was a sophomore in college, she had done 96 shows with local and University theater groups. She was accepted into the Dean's Scholar Program and was the first person in visual arts to be accepted. Gina's first exposure to Local 705 was during her time on the movie The Last Airbender. She worked as a local in Philadelphia and forged lasting relationships with many of the Local 705 craftspeople which led to her getting her union days on the movie Cowboys & Aliens. She has been a member of 705 since 2010. LETICIA SANDOVAL Letty got her start working summer jobs with her mom at the specialty walk-about shop, Shafton INC, once located in North Hollywood right out of high school. These summer jobs eventually led to a full-time position where she was able to hone her building skills amongst many talented specialty builders, such as Specialty Costumer Dorothy Bulac- Eriksen. After working on different shows in different special effects shops and trying to land a job on the Batman movie, Letty got her union days on the TV show Pacific Blue working alongside Costume Designer Victoria Auth. She has been a member of Local 705 since 1996. KEITH MUESSIGMANN Keith had a delayed start getting into costuming. Originally planning on being a high school teacher, he went to school for English and theater. His professors took note of his strong knack for design and the next thing he knew; he was designing main stage productions at his undergraduate school while also doing costume construction. Keith received his master's degree in costume and set design and soon after went on to be an artistic director/set/costume designer of the Goldenrod Showboat theater in St. Louis. At the age of 40, he wanted to do something different, so he moved to Los Angeles and started working at a shop owned by Costume Designer John David Ridge. He has been a member of Local 705 since 2002. DEBORAH AMBROSINO Deborah has always had an interest in clothes. While attending Cal State Long Beach, she first wanted to do conservation work for museums. When she went to get her museum certificate, her counselor suggested she take an art and costume history class which is how she entered the costuming world. After college, she went on to make hats for the TV show Dinosaurs and made the fat suit for Robert De Niro in the film The Untouchables. After a few weird bad jobs, she got her union days on the show Shadow working with Costume Designer Bob Ringwood. She has been a member of Local 705 since 1995. HAND-CRAFTING HEROES
