2003. As one of the Set Costumers, Arce takes care of the talent but will assist Wilschke if she needs help. "A lot of times, I'm on set, but if we need to do some shopping or whatever, I go to the place down the road and go, go, go. And then at times where it's kind of a bit mellow, we're in our own sort of groove of what we're doing. But when it's all hands on deck, just everyone needs to shop, or you need to help Jillian." Set Costumer Rocio Estrada gives us the tour of Jimmy's closet, a double racked out cedarwood- lined room with sections of suits, dress shirts, casual clothing and shoes. "This is the line of the rotation of the suits. So, as he wears one, it goes to the end of the line, that way we can keep track. Then we have ties, we don't repeat them as he wears them every night. We put it here" pulls out strut bar hangers with recently worn ties, "until they get full, and then they'll get re-blended, so it'll be a while before he repeats them. Then here's his show shirts, he wears Anto, and for suits, he wears Gucci. And then I have all his show shoes, casual shoes. We also have his casual closet here. And then it goes: sports coats; casual jackets; shirts; pants. This is the only section that there's a lile part that's not his. Those are just sports coats, because we ran out of space. We kind of have to anticipate everything. When we go to New York, then we also have the basic underwear, shirts, warm weather stuff, sweaters. This truly is whenever we have to pull for him, this is where we're pulling." For shows at the El Capitan Centre, Estrada tells us that Kimmel "also has a closet in his dressing room where we keep stock, and then we rotate. So, we always make sure we have a decent amount of casual and a lile dressy." Costume Shopper and Sourcer Daphne Bernstein says, "I think that's the most unique and special thing about this show and this department is when I first came here, I was so shocked and amazed at how no one had to run to a costume house, because you basically have one right here.
