he day Superman emigrated to planet Earth, he gave the world hope. Hope for a better tomorrow, hope for a just world, and hope that he would be accepted by the human race as one of their own. Because ultimately, Superman is as human as the rest of us. Landing on planet Earth in 1938 from the minds of Jerry Spiegel and Joe Shuster for Action Comics, Superman was and is, the first superhero. With thousands (if not millions) of iterations since his first time on a comic page, people young and old and from all walks of life know the costume and colors of Superman: red, yellow, and blue. The blue suit, the yellow and red "S" emblem, a yellow belt, and the red boots and cape. These iconic pieces were once again crafted, molded, and dyed for the 2025 DC Studios movie Superman by many of our own Local 705 Custom Made and Specialty members, including Jack Taggart, Gina Scarnati, Leticia Sandoval, Keith Muessigmann, and Deborah Ambrosino. 87 Years of Inspiration By Shea Wolfe T SUPERMAN SUPERMAN 20 WINTER 2026
