"What a fun time, seeing old friends and making new ones. It was a hoot! It was pretty inspirational to be on the receiving end of compliments from Industry colleagues who have worked on shows that I have watched and loved over the years." -Marty Cummins/LMGI, winner, The Studio, L.A. "I was proud to represent the amazing team behind Lockerbie at such a wonderful celebration of location managers' work. The real joy of awards was sharing the evening with so many talented colleagues whose work has inspired me this year. The LMGI has been doing wonders promoting our craft!" -Leon Seth/LMGI, nominee, Lockerbie: A Search for Truth, aending from UK "I was so happy I could finally attend this year. Thanks to the Polish Film Institute, I stayed in a beautiful hotel in Santa Monica. The fact that the winners are chosen by fellow professionals makes the recognition feel really meaningful. It was fantastic meeting colleagues. We exchanged stories and compared how things work in different countries. That part was just the cherry on top." -Michal Sliwkiewicz, nominee, A Real Pain, aending from Poland "I am so glad that I made the decision to attend the awards show and all the weekend festivities. I really enjoyed being part of the awards process. I loved the interviews, the panels, and the meeting leading up to the event. The LMGI is opening doors for each of its members through organized group scouts, Fam Tours, meet and greets, and various events hosted throughout the world. It allows each of us to participate and meet with potential future co-workers, sharing stories and providing insight." -Julieta Rey del Castillo/LMGI, Fly Me to the Moon, aending from Georgia "We are often the forgotten department, yet so critical to the viability of the entire production. The overall event was worth the trip, and the ceremony was very inspiring. While I wish Kevin Costner could have been there, his message was powerful!" –David Warren/LMGI, Army National Guard aending from Atlanta David Warren/LMGI & Valerie Warren/LMGI, Army National Guard Michal Sliwkiewicz, A Real Pain Julieta Rey del Castillo/LMGI, Fly Me to the Moon Leon Seth/LMGI, A Search for Truth LMGI members William "Fluffy" Millar, Ed Mazurek, Stuart Berberich Beth Tate/LMGI & Gina Vreeland/LMGI Bradley Moore/LMGI, Vanina Alfaro, 2nd VP Danny Finn/LMGI, Maria De La Rosa/LMGI, AJ Valdez/LMGI
