LMGI is an excellent promoter." –Tomislav "Pele" Peleski/LMGI, nominee, Hotel Portofino, aending from Croatia It was a great time with great food, cocktails, music and colleagues. AFTER-PARTY/AFTERTHOUGHTS Whether it's the warm summer air, the expansive patio, the sparkling lights, the pounding music, bountiful buffet, open bar or the mingling buzz—or all of the above—the after-party is always a joyous finale to what has become the Guild's signature yearly event. "This year's awards were yet another sold-out success!" says Erika Howard, LMGI Communications and Operations Director. "And the after-party, what a networking marathon! I am sure that endless shots of Dos Boots tequila helped fuel the joy!" Whether attending locally, flying in from abroad or streaming the show from afar, location professionals agree that the Guild is not only doing a great job promoting our craft, but knows how to put on a great show and an even better party! "I was able to stay glued to my screen enjoying every moment of the show. I'd dreamed of something like this since school! I was nominated alongside great professionals whose work I admire. The process was fantastic. The forums, sharing our challenges, and being able to exchange opinions was so amazing!" -Emerson Espinosa, nominee, One Hundred Years of Solitude, tuning in from Colombia "The ceremony was entertaining as usual and the after-party was laid out nicely with excellent food and good vibes.
