4 FALL 2025 CONTRIBUTORS CONTRIBUTORS Julia Bly has been a member of IATSE Local 705 for 15 years and has served as a union representative in the business office for the past four years. She is a Key Costumer and while working in the cra, she mainly worked as a Finished Costumer on television series such as Raising Hope, The Morning Show, The Rookie, and VEEP. Andrea Napier is a Women's Finished Key Costumer with 35+ years of experience in Costuming. She studied fashion design at the American College for the Applied Arts in London, where she discovered a love of Costuming, eventually earning a bachelor's (Cal State Los Angeles) and then a master's (University of Arizona, Tucson) in Costume Design. She has worked on such productions as Marriage Story (2019), The Benchwarmers (2006), Spanglish (2004), Home Economics, Transparent, Rizzoli & Isles, Frasier, and Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers. Nora Pedersen began her costuming career in the theater in North Carolina and NYC. Aer a brief stint at Cal Arts grad school, she found her costume home in film & TV costume in LA. She is a 20-year member of Local 892, 17-year member of Local 705, and has been supervising for nine years. Her true love is for made- to-order shows, where the workrooms are a constant source of creativity and inspiration. She shares her life with three extremely well-traveled fluffy cats who permit her to drive them around the country for the next show. Kathleen Qiu is a Women's Finished Costumer of Local 705. She holds an MFA in costume design from the Academy of Art University. She works primarily as a coordinator and a BG Costumer. In her non-costuming time, she gardens, builds things, and chases her chickens and cats around. She is a published author under pseudonym Zella Faye Blanche. You can see some of her work at www.kathleenq.com. Wendy Gough Soroka is the Communications & Education Coordinator at Motion Picture Costumers. She has worked in union communications since 2014. Wendy holds an MFA in theater from the Hilberry Repertory, Wayne State, in Detroit. When not cheering for Local 705 Costumers, Wendy is a voracious and indiscriminate bookworm, playwright, avid dog lover, and relapsed martial artist. More about Wendy's (mis) adventures can be found at www.wendygoughsoroka.com Heather Vandergriff is a Local 705 Custom Made Manufacturing Foreperson originally from the hills of East Tennessee. Hand-me-downs from her sisters rarely fit, so she quickly mastered the art of altering and remaking garments. Heather earned her BFA in costume technology from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, and aer relocating to Los Angeles, she joined the union. Her credits include Fallout, Our Flag Means Death, Falcon & the Winter Soldier, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 & 3, and The Hunger Games series. When she's not working, you'll likely find her exploring a hiking trail with binoculars in hand. Erin Wenrick is a Key Costumer of Local 705. She has a BA in theater production & design from Arizona State University and has been an active 705 member since 2017 and volunteers on multiple commiees when available. She has worked set, trailer, and office but loves sci-fi and fantasy projects when the opportunity presents itself. Shea Wolfe is a Key Set Costumer of Local 705. She is a descendant of Hawai'i and received a BA in fashion marketing. Shea has been an active 705 member since 2017. She has worked as a Set and Trailer Costumer on Air, The Mandalorian, and The Greatest Hits.
