These facilities sign a special agreement with the Local to provide their employees with union wages and benefits. As there are more than two dozen Local 705 Signatories, we will be highlighting a couple of houses every issue to formally introduce them to our readers. Most Supervisors and Costume Designers are already familiar with our Signatory Houses, but as they retire or leave the industry, it is critical for our newer members, who will soon be heads of department themselves, to become familiar with these union shops. As union members, we advocate for our Signatories when working on productions that require the cra-covered work they provide. In this issue, we spoke with Frank Ippolito of Thingergy, a specialty workshop, and Rory Cunningham of Bill Hargate Costumes (BHC), a Signatory workroom. W
