It truly is one of those jobs where if it goes unnoticed, you have done your job correctly. The process of ADR and dialogue mixing and how we view it has dramatically changed over the years. Whether shooting in noisier locations, using CGI to create characters and locations that don't exist, using creative mixing to change the tone of a scene, or dubbing an entire language, ADR is vital to the post-production process.
