Finalists are selected for their skill in resolving challenges that arise during production while filming in communities all over the state. The finalists for the COLA Awards are chosen based on their ability to effectively address challenges encountered during production in various communities across the state. Nominees and winners are selected by film commissioners, production executives and previous location manager awardees from the past 12 years. These individuals review submissions detailing how the nominees have overcome obstacles to advance their projects while also meeting the requirements of local residents and authorities. Public employees are nominated for their exceptional efforts in navigating bureaucratic obstacles that could hinder production, often exceeding expectations with their support and dedication. The LMGI takes pride in congratulating all nominees and winners for their outstanding achievements. LMGI members are in bold.
