C I N E M A A U D I O S O C I E T Y. O R G 71 I didn't find any new products at LECTROSONICS, but there was plenty of interest in the booth, filled with all the current tools. They did have a bag- ready receiver frame [Bagframe] to presumably accommodate three Lectro units of any sort. RADIUS has expanded their line of windshields with extensions of varying lengths to accommodate all your mics without having to buy an entirely new shockmount/windshield system for each one. DEITY brought their THEOS two- channel receivers and transmitters that go from 470 MHz to 960 MHz, allowing configuring on-the-fly for any geographic region based on commands from the mobile app and your phone's GPS. The new DIFB IFB receiver sounded solid across the exhibit hall, and is compatible with their wide- tuning transmitters, reducing the number of specialized radios on set. Also on display was the new SF1 Sharkfin antenna that can be used passively or with up to 30 dB of active gain, allowing for longer cable runs and/or smaller transmission lines. The PR-2 remote-controllable pocket recorder looked interesting too. SSL was showing their portable Desktop Fader Tile, a 16-fader controller that connects to their System T mix engine. It can access up to 960 channel paths with 15 layers and four banks per layer. An OLED screen and extensive metering round out this little monster. CEDAR doesn't have any new hardware but were happy to point out that their new ICONS Series plugins are available, including Adaptive Limiter 2, DNS One, ScreenVox, and StageVox, among others. As Dante-capable devices grow in the marketplace, AUDINATE has a new pair of two-channel systems for venue installation or portable use, with Euroblock inputs rather than XLR's.
