Tim Burgard MY ATTEMPT TO DO A GRAPHIC NOVEL ADAPTION OF EDGAR RICE BURROUGHS' TARZAN AT THE EARTH'S CORE NEVER REACHED COMPLETION DUE TO FINANCIAL REALITIES; BUT WHENEVER I CAN, I WANT TO SHARE THE WORK THAT I DID FINISH (WITH MAYBE A BIT OF POLISH). I HAVE HAD A CHANCE TO SHARE SOME OF THIS ARTWORK IN ADG'S PERSPECTIVE MAGAZINE BEFORE, AND I HAVE MORE PAGES I HOPE TO SHOW TO YOU ALL IN THE FUTURE. PLEASE ENJOY THIS EXCERPT THAT ENDS IN A STICKY CLIFF- HANGER FOR TARZAN. MAYBE SOMEDAY YOU WILL GET THE CHANCE TO SEE WHAT COMES NEXT. Tim Burgard, Sr. Illustrator, ADG. Tim is a California native who graduated from Art Center College of Design (Art Center) in hopes of making a living doing what he would have done anyway. This led to careers in the comic book, animation and film industries as a writer, Illustrator and storyboard artist. Comic book highlights: working for DC (Starman), Hero Comics (Flare), and many others. Animation highlights: The Simpsons and G.I. Joe. Film highlights: range from Terminator 2: Judgement Day to Rise of the Planet of the Apes to Jurassic World. His "bucket list" project is to have at least one of the Tarzan comics he has worked on, finally published in full. Along with being a Film Illustrator, Tim is teaching storyboarding for directors at Art Center.
