10 M PS E . O R G lots of yummy options to choose from. For dessert, we feasted on churros, snow cones, and those famous hot, fresh, chocolate chip cookies, thanks to our Dessert Sponsor, Warner Bros. Post Production Sound Services. No one left hungry! For activities, there was something fun to do around every corner. We had face-painting, bouncers, and carnival games with prizes for the little kids; Jumbo Jenga, Ping-Pong, and inflatable foot darts for the bigger kids; and all sorts of hilarious picnic games for all ages like water balloon toss and three-legged race, also complete with prizes. At the end of the afternoon, we held our now-famous raffle. We raffled off more than $2,000 in prizes, including a kids' basket with a Kindle Fire, and a basket bursting with MPSE merch and four tickets to the Warner Bros. Studio Tour. We were so fortunate to have two Grand Prizes this year, donated by our friends at Avid—2 one-year subscriptions to Pro Tools! Every guest who came got a commemorative MPSE keychain flashlight and 50 lucky families got to take home a pumpkin. The Fall Family Picnic is the biggest fundraiser of the year for the MPSE's Ethel Crutcher Scholarship Fund. Thanks to the generosity of our members and our good friends at CAS, we were able to raise $5,000 for the fund. I say it all the time because it's always true, the MPSE has the best members! Thanks to all who came out to enjoy the day and share your beautiful families with us. If you couldn't make it, we hope to see you next year! I love to hear from MPSE members! If you have an idea, a question, a concern, a recipe, please don't hesitate to reach out to me at office@ mpse.org. Wishing everyone a safe and joyous holiday season and I hope to see you at the Golden Reel Awards in February!
