During November's general election, voters will decide who becomes our next president, as well as the make-up of Congress, the US Senate, and the state legislature. We'll also be voting on important ballot initiatives, school board candidates, and more. How Are ese Recommendations Made? Union educators elected to the NEA or AEA PAC governing boards make decisions about federal and state recommendations, respectively. Decisions about school board candidates are made by local unions. Decisions are made based on candidate questionnaires and interviews. Want to get more involved in this process? Reach out to leadership in your local.
