CAROL LITTLETON
Colleagues and fans gathered in April to
pay tribute to Carol Littleton, ACE, who
earlier this year became the third picture
editor in history to receive an honorary
Oscar. Littleton edited such classics as "E.T.:
The Extra-Terrestrial" and "Body Heat." She
also left a lasting imprint on Hollywood labor
during her term as president of the Editors
Guild. She "was instrumental in changing
the culture of the union," said Guild presi-
dent Alan Heim, ACE. ■
