CENTRAL STATION MEMPHIS OPENS NEW MID-SCALE MEETING & EVENT SPACE The Central Station Hotel, a Memphis boutique hotel, has elevated its group, event and business offerings with the unveiling of its new Rock & Soul event and meeting space. In addition to the new Rock & Soul room, the his- toric music-themed hotel provides a versatile variety of meeting and event spaces, including multiple boardrooms and an elegant ballroom. The new meetings and events space is a total of 2,300 square feet, which can be divided into two separate meet- ing rooms, producing a smaller room of 900 square feet and a larger space that is nearly 1,400 square feet and can accommodate 150 to 180 people. The newly debuted Rock & Soul room differentiates Central Station from other Memphis boutique hotels of the same size, as the new offering now allows them to accommodate larger groups. Visitors who rent the space can also expect stellar service and delicious catered dishes for any small to mid-size meetings, conferences, events and wedding celebrations. Located in Memphis' South Main district near many must-visit spots, Central Station is dedicated to spotlight- ing and elevating Memphis' rich musical history. Housed within a former train station, the hotel's design is influ- enced by the popular transit hub, which passed through the 109-year-old historic midcentury building for decades.
