The studio questionnaires were usually quite similar, which equated to a lot of duplicate work. The onboarding process to the new platform was quick and easy for us. Since we were part of the legacy platform, TPN migrated part of our information over to the new platform. As soon as we enrolled in the new membership program, we could complete and submit our information and security details. Another update to the TPN program that is extremely useful is the clear timeline for the third party assessment. Once we completed our TPN questionnaire, uploaded our evidence into the TPN+ portal, and requested our assessment, it was completed punctually by our assessor within 15 days. Having a definitive schedule was very helpful for our internal tech team, which was resolving most of the action items that arose from the assessment. I think the new membership model makes TPN more accessible for a wider range of service providers. Since the membership fee is based on annual revenue, it creates a level playing field for all-size vendors, even freelancers, to become part of the initiative. Plus, the securi- ty status levels (blue or gold shield) provide us with a choice about what baseline of security is appropriate for our individual companies. For instance, we're not all working on blockbuster and cinematic projects, so a blue shield (self-reporting) security status may be the most cost-effective option for a company working on lower-budget content. TPN has already made great progress since re-launching earlier this year, and we look to it as a community network where we're all working toward the same goal of content security. The regular updates to the guidelines and Best Practices around cloud-based services, work-from-home, and bring-your-own-device scenarios, which are all commonplace in our industry now, have addressed sig- nificant shis in our industry. I think the next challenge will be the rise of AI and machine learning in VFX, which comes with its own set of security risks. I believe content owners and vendors will be looking to TPN for guidance on how to implement these new technologies without compromising content security. C G W : W H A T ' S N E X T F O R T P N ? We're so encouraged by the way the media and entertainment in- dustry is responding to our refreshed program and platform. We have over 500 members in more than 47 countries, and we're onboarding new members every day. We always welcome feedback and put a great deal of consistent effort into nurturing our relationships with all industry players to help us evolve and develop our content security roadmap. We believe it's about driving mutual success and working together to raise industry security standards by minimizing risk, pro- moting productivity and collaboration, and ultimately keeping our content safe.
